Questions
GST Filing & Returns — questions
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly — our team responds fast.
What happens if I file GST returns late?
A late fee applies for each day of delay (₹50 per day, or ₹20 for nil returns, subject to caps), plus 18% annual interest on tax paid late. Continued non-filing can also block your e-way bills and, eventually, lead to cancellation of registration.
Why is my input tax credit lower than my purchase bills?
You can only claim credit that appears in your GSTR-2B, so credit is lost when suppliers file late or report incorrectly. We reconcile every month and give you a list of suppliers to follow up with.
Monthly or quarterly — which suits me?
Businesses with turnover up to ₹5 crore can opt for QRMP: quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B with monthly tax payment. It reduces paperwork, but your B2B customers may prefer monthly reporting so their credit flows faster.
